Dear Customers and Friends,
It is with considerable regret that I am announcing the immediate cessation of business for Catalina Quilting.
In the past four years I have enjoyed becoming better acquainted with the great quilters of Oro Valley, Dove Mountain, and Saddlebrooke. Regrettably, however, it appears there are not yet enough quilters to sustain an independent quilt shop in our area. The impact of our current economy and the rising prices of cotton on the world market have combined to lead me to this difficult decision.
My thanks to our customers for their business. Additionally my thanks to our teachers and staff. You have given generously of your time and talent and we have enjoyed learning and sharing together. I am particularly grateful to Eileen Bonk, our lead instructor and my 'right hand' these last two years. She will continue consulting and teaching individuals or groups under her own business, EB Designs. I encourage you to contact her at embtucson@aol.com.
